The Position : We are seeking an experienced
Director, Cybersecurity Risk
to join our team and implement robust security measures for managing cyber and physical security risks. This position reports to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and is responsible for providing guidance on cybersecurity risk management, third party risk management, and physical security across 15 locations. This role involves developing risk management strategies, collaborating with various stakeholders to reduce the security risk of our systems, and conducting cloud security risk assessments in conjunction with the Cloud Security Architect.
The Game Plan : (What you will do) Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity risk management strategies. Conduct cloud security risk assessments and vulnerability analysis. Oversee and prioritize the efforts of the Cloud Security Architect - which include investigating security configurations for Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Google GCP Manage third-party risk assessments and ensure compliance with security standards. Collaborate with vendors and third-party partners to complete our security questionnaires. Investigate and analyze physical security incidents at our 15 locations, with remote access to cameras. Open investigations with police authorities as directed by the CISO. Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures. Provide guidance and training to staff on risk management best practices. Lead Incident Response efforts and coordinate with relevant teams. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., PCI-DSS). Prepare and present risk assessment reports to CISO. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends and technologies. Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, or related work experience. Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity risk management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of third-party risk management practices. Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools. Excellent understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Proven ability to develop and implement risk management policies and procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Relevant certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
The base salary compensation range for this role is $135,000-$200,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
