**Where You Will Work

Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. As a Hybrid employee, you will collaborate primarily virtually anywhere in the U.S. except California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded based on business factors. Occasionally, you may be required to attend in-person meetings at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. The Collaboration Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration.

Description
Provide oversight and drive consistency within the Remote Asset Management Process (RAMP) group by working collaboratively with the RAMP employees and their customers found in the site maintenance/operations departments. Provide guidance to site Reliability Engineers, supervision of the corporate mobile mine maintenance reliability engineer/s and own the Reliability Engineer Career Development Program. Responsible for creating and reporting the key performance indicators (KPI’s) used to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of our maintenance programs. Work closely with our equipment OEMs to drive continuous improvement through root cause failure analysis to achieve world-class mobile equipment fleet performance. Work with the mine maintenance departments to share safety improvements, best practices, drive reliability centered maintenance and be an agent of change as a member of the Operational Improvement group.
Provide mentorship and direction to mine maintenance reliability engineers across the organization to support their development and to ensure consistency.
Own and continue to improve the reliability engineer career development program by working collaboratively with key stakeholders both at the sites, Operational Improvement group and within HR.
Own the mine and processing Remote Asset Monitoring Programs to ensure consistency across our North and South American operations.
Work collaboratively with RAMP employees and the end users of their recommendations and data to ensure the service provided is industry leading.
Own equipment the maintenance key performance indicators (KPI’s) and their respective standards to provide perspective to leadership and compel the maintenance departments to improve utilizing a data driven approach.
Develop and maintain productive and professional partnerships with strategic Original Equipment Manufacturers [OEMs] to drive component enhancements and equipment enhancements that improve overall equipment reliability across Freeport-McMoRan Inc.
Lead equipment defect elimination projects through the use of root cause analysis (RCA) and the use of data to continue to improve our mobile fleet performance by increasing its reliability and availability.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and eleven (11) years of related technical or engineering experience, including supervisory or lead experience,
OR
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (mining, chemical, reliability, mechanical, etc.) and seven (7) years of related technical or engineering experience, including supervisory or lead experience,
OR
Master’s degree in engineering or related field (mining, chemical, reliability, mechanical, etc.) and five (5) years of related technical or engineering experience, including supervisory or lead experience
Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
Extensive experience in RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance)
Extensive knowledge of the mobile equipment found in a large-scale copper mine
Extensive experience with running RCA’s and/or FMEA
Very strong analysis and presentation skills in ordered to provide clear and concise recommendations to all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
Lean Six Sigma experience or certification
Strength with software tools (SAP, Business Objects, R, Python, SQL, etc.)
Strength in probability and statistical analysis
What We Offer You
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $
113,000-$158,000.
This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance.
Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration.
Long-term incentives are contingent upon authorized approval under the terms and conditions of the Company's plan and award agreements.
