Job Posting: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
DevOps
Network Engineer
to join our team! In this role, you will hone your skills in a fast-paced environment working with a collaborative team. This position is part of a team that supports USCYBERCOM's internal command IT systems, including one-of-a-kind cyberspace operations systems. The successful candidate will have a solid IT networking background and be a key contributor.
What You'll Be Doing Design and define IT networks for new or existing computer systems supporting the command or enterprise. Perform complex systems development and IT infrastructure design work that may include logic network design, physical network design, manufacturing and development cost projections, IT systems engineering. Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations to project managers regarding integrating these technologies into the existing network. Develop documentation on new or existing systems. What Required Skills You'll Bring
10+ years of IT Network Engineer of Software Developer/Software Developer in Test experience Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline Active TS/SCI w/Poly Experience building large-scale CI/CD infrastructure Experience using cloud virtualization platforms like vSphere or ARIA Experience using common source control or CI/CD frameworks (i.e. Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins) Experience using automated testing frameworks like Robot framework, Pytest, and GoogleTest. Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell) Experience utilizing Podman/Docker Advanced verbal and written communication skills with a focus on the creation of technical documentation for testing What Desired Skills You'll Bring
15+ years of IT Network Engineer of Software Developer/Software Developer in Test experience Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline Knowledge of cross-compilation and experience building/using them on various architectures (PPC, MIPS, x86, ARM, RISC-V, etc.) Experience with management products like Jira and Confluence Extensive experience parsing user stories or requirements to create testable objectives and measures of performance that will lead to fully tested software products GIAC Cloud Security Automation Certified Minimum Clearance Required To Start Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph
