The Head of Data Operations is a cross functional role that will directly oversee EDO's Data Quality and Technical Account Management (TAM) teams, while also working side-by-side with Media Analytics, Sales, Product, and Engineering to bring EDO data to life and maximize value for clients. What You Will Do Oversee data operations for syndicated (or 3rd party data) and client first party data from data ingestion through to finalized reports. Evaluate current data operations (ingestion, mapping, client readiness, etc.) and identify enhancements to ensure high quality and timely data availability. Define and build successful processes in data management that are scalable to support large growth. Leverage data warehouse concepts and experience with data engineering and analysis tools to examine big-data workflows and identify optimization and functional improvement opportunities. Identify, co-design, and champion opportunities for automation and intelligent software replacements for manual optimization tasks. Manage Data Quality and TAM teams, which is roughly a total team size of ten (10) people in the US, and an offshore DQ team. Oversee the maintenance of EDO's data taxonomy which represents a unified schema across EDO's media data. Support the sales and business development process by evaluating feasibility of new opportunities. With the TAM team, be the client facing technical team and collaborate with engineering and data science on new opportunities. Drive a consistent internal feedback loop on processes and deliverables. Work with EDO engineers and data scientists to plan and prioritize technical solutions, in collaboration with the media analytics team. Understand and stay on top of changing industry dynamics and the competitive landscape. What We Are Looking For Minimum of ten (10) years of experience. Minimum of four (4) years of people management. Experience managing offshore teams a nice to have. Location: remote, preferred NY. Hybrid work environment. Deep knowledge and experience in tagging, clean rooms and CTV measurement. Experience implementing generative AI solutions. Experience working with complex taxonomies within syndicated data preferred. Strong project management skills, including ability to design strong processes. Comfortable working in Jira. Versatility, i.e., the ability and willingness to wear multiple hats and switch gears frequently. Player couch mindset, with expectation that he/she will be hands on with data and projects. A self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, and who has the desire to be part of a fast-growing, exciting, and nimble start up company. Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 PLUS equity in a mid-stage company and eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus. Compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, experience, location and the level of education attained of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
