Qualifications: Experience:
Minimum 3 years of proven experience implementing complex algorithms on ASICs/FPGAs. Education:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (preferred)
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in VHDL. Expertise in FPGA design and debugging, specifically with Xilinx FPGAs and Vivado tools. Excellent analytical and debugging capabilities.
Communication:
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement complex algorithms on FPGAs and ASICs for defense and aerospace applications. Utilize VHDL for hardware description and implementation. Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and reliability of designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA/ASIC designs into larger systems. Stay current with the latest advancements in FPGA/ASIC technologies and methodologies. Prepare and deliver technical presentations to communicate design concepts and progress.
