Job Title: Senior Django/Python Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA (3 days in Center City Office, 2 days remote)

As part of this role, you will drive complex refactoring projects, enhance a robust platform used by major universities and hospitals, and play a key role in building the next generation of our client’s products. What You’ll Do:
Develop and Optimize: Design, develop, and maintain advanced web applications using Django, Python, and Vue.js. Focus on building scalable solutions and enhancing performance and security. Lead Projects: Architect and lead the implementation of new systems and the refactoring of existing ones, phasing in updates from old code to new. Immediate projects include complex front-end V2/V3 refactoring and phased restructuring for scaling. Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with designers, product managers, and other developers to define and deliver high-quality solutions, incorporating feedback across multiple development cycles. Mentor and Guide: Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing and growth. Project Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and iterative testing to deployment and ongoing maintenance. What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Minimum 5 years in software development, with a proven track record in Django and Python. Strong grasp of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end development processes is essential. Technical Leadership: Background as a senior or tech lead on multiple projects with experience in code reviews (5+ years) and an eye for high-quality, maintainable code. Versatile Collaboration: Comfortable taking initiative, leading discussions, and working closely with distributed teams. Must possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable with regular video calls to facilitate teamwork. Growth-Oriented Mindset: Looking for a developer who aspires to grow into a leadership role, potentially advancing within the company.
