A Week In The Life Of a Systems Engineer
Responsible for highly complex Training Systems and sensor simulations that deliver cutting edge simulation environments for military operators The Training Systems immerse operators through the use of simulations of RADAR, Electronic Support Measures (ESM), Weapons, Acoustics, and aerodynamic models to provide mission readiness in immersive environments. Work with a small but distributed team to assess each capability and incorporate the latest visual and sensor simulations. Analyze complex systems and decompose performance requirements into actionable tasks. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in simulation technology and systems engineering practices in order to contribute to the ongoing improvement of training system capabilities. Apply knowledge in machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) applications in simulation and training systems. Work closely with software developers, instructional designers, hardware engineers, and project managers to ensure the seamless integration of technologies and methodologies in the development of training systems. Leverage systems engineering expertise to conduct thorough requirements analysis, develop system architectures, and design integrated solutions that meet training objectives. Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree 10+ years of relevant DoD/IC security related experience. Special access program experience a plus Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility Senior knowledge of training systems and sensor simulations. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
