Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Quality Engineer. In this role, you will collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. You will engage in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action and ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action methodologies.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a technical engineering degree or related subject. Specific engineering degrees could include Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Operations Research.
• Fluent in MS Office Suite
• Model Base Experience (3DExperience/ Team Center/ CATIA V5)
• Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations Be able to present and interface with program and senior customers.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
• Root cause analysis and corrective action experience.
• Green Belt, Black Belt, ASQ CQE or CMQQE training/certification.
• Demonstrated quality science knowledge in one of more the following areas: statistical analysis, statistical process control, sampling, six sigma, PPAP, PFMEA, process auditing or validation, and supplier quality management.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
