Contracts Specialist
to support a defense agency
in Arlington, VA.
The team is seeking a dynamic skill set in contract negotiation, modifications, and grants that adhere to FAR/DFAR policies. This is a
HYBRID
role requiring
1 day onsite/4 days remote . This will be a great opportunity to be a part of a multi year program that supports Break-through technologies & AI services for the warfighter!
Responsibilities of the Contracts Specialist:
Preparing and administering terms and conditions for contracts that contribute to national security objectives Collaborating with COR to negotiate solicitations and release Modifying with precision and proficiency within Excel Conducting in-depth analysis of procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance Preparing and maintaining essential contract file documentation according to FAR, DFARS, and related regulations Qualifications of the Contracts Specialist:
5+ years of experience with DoD acquisition & contract writing (cradle to grave) Experience with navigating through a contract writing system, specifically Procure Defense Desktop Strong experience with FFP/Cost Plus Contracts, Cooperative Agreements, & Grants Bachelor's degree in a related field Active DoD Secret clearance Compensation for the Contracts Specialist:
Salary Range: $130k-180k per year Full Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc.
