We are seeking a highly skilled IT Engineer for a 12-month contract role in Irvine, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, network management, and system administration. You will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting IT systems, ensuring seamless operations, and supporting the organization’s technological needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues. Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data centers. Implement security protocols to safeguard company data and IT systems. Perform regular maintenance, updates, and backups of systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the IT needs of various departments. Assist in the installation and configuration of software and hardware. Monitor system performance and respond to outages or other performance issues. Document system configurations, procedures, and changes. Ensure compliance with IT policies and best practices. Qualifications: Must have IT support experience in environments with a large user base. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong independent troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues. Proven experience in IT engineering, network management, or system administration. Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS). Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus. Strong understanding of network architecture, firewalls, routers, and switches. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are preferred. Application Process:
