Job Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Rochester, NH
Reports To: Vice President of Human Resources
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. In this role, you will provide strategic HR support to the leadership team, aligning HR practices with business objectives to drive organizational success. You will also collaborate closely with the corporate HR team on company-wide initiatives and support local sites as needed. Key responsibilities include recruitment, talent development, employee relations, and implementation of strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
Partner with the HR leadership team to align strategies with organizational goals and objectives. Provide counsel on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategies to drive business success. Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes. Collaboration with Corporate HR:
Work alongside the corporate HR team to develop, implement, and localize company-wide HR initiatives and programs. Act as a liaison between corporate HR and local sites, ensuring consistent and effective implementation of HR policies and practices. Contribute to the development of corporate HR strategies by providing feedback and insights from the local level. Talent Acquisition and Management:
Partner with hiring managers and corporate recruiters to attract, hire, and onboard top talent. Support workforce planning and succession planning efforts to ensure a pipeline of future leaders. Develop and implement retention strategies to maintain a high-performing workforce. Employee Relations and Engagement:
Serve as a trusted advisor for employees and managers, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner. Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, workplace culture, and overall satisfaction. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Support for Local Sites:
Provide onsite HR support to local facilities as needed, addressing unique challenges and opportunities. Conduct site visits to ensure HR policies, procedures, and initiatives are effectively implemented. Learning and Development:
Identify skill gaps and collaborate on training and development programs to enhance workforce capabilities. Support leadership development initiatives, coaching managers to strengthen their leadership skills. HR Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor HR metrics and analyze trends to inform decision-making and improve processes. Provide regular reports and updates to the Vice President of Human Resources on HR initiatives and site-specific needs. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred). 3+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner or similar role. Strong understanding of employment laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements. Proven experience in recruitment, talent management, and employee relations. Ability to travel to local sites as required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis. Key Competencies:
