CI/CD DevOps Engineer

to support their game software development teams.

This role is to improve and support game development through a smooth, automated and productive CI/CD process and thereby facilitate the timely delivery of mobile games. The engineer will manage, develop, and improve tools for the enhancement of the development operations. This includes managing and supporting CI/CD network, security, containers and virtual server infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Integrate and build automation tools for software development lifecycle (deployment, monitoring, and operations) Programming integrations and tools using JS, Typescript or C# Management / Re-provisioning of Development/Test Environments and maintenance (patches, O/S health) Maintain and administer our CI tools, GitLab integration for continuous build, test, and deployment Manage and integrate GitLab including CI/CD, JIRA, et al Research, evaluate and improve DevOps toolchain to automate and streamline our operations and processes Monitor system health with various tools and respond to alerts Required Experience

Knowledge of automation and continuous integration (2+ years). Setting up CI/CD pipelines (2+ years). Recent software engineering using JS, Typescript or C# Managing performance, availability and scale for mid to large sized systems. (2+ years). Source Control Management (2+ years). Iterative/agile (e.g. SCRUM, XP) methodologies (1+ years). Required Up-To-Date Hands-On Expertise Configuring, Administering, Supporting, Deploying:

GitLab & Git Clients (or similar) Kubernetes PowerShell or Bash GitLab CI/CD (or similar) Docker NPM SQL Server (2012+) basics for CI/CD requirements

Optional/Desirable Expertise & Experience:

Virtualization: VMware vSphere 6/7 and Storage Area Networks (SANs).

Servers and Storage: On prem and cloud

Windows Active Directory (2012+) in an Office 365 environment Microsoft Databases & Methodologies

Microsoft Data: Power BI, SQL Databases, Azure Insights, Stream Analytics and Machine Learning.

Bachelor degree or above in Computer Engineering or related discipline
