IT Infrastructure Intern

Camping World is looking for an IT intern for the summer of 2025 to work closely with the IT Infrastructure and Cloud group. You will gain first-hand experience assisting with scripting, setting up/configuring applications, sites, documentation, and compiling inventories. We are looking for someone who is driven, has experience in Information Technology and who wants to be immersed in a real-world experience. If you are eager to learn, have a strong interest in IT and want to further develop yourself as a professional; this is the ideal role for you.
Candidates must have the ability to work in our Chicago or Lincolnshire office on a hybrid basis (3 days in office, 2 days remote) for 10 weeks, beginning in June of 2025.
What You'll Do:
Review system diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of environments Coordinate schedules/activities between Application teams and IT staff Offer technical support to Developers and troubleshoot software issues Write Code and scripts to automate tasks Assist with inventorying and documenting of all cloud Environments Assess security tools and report on findings Work with the SRE team to assist on modernization projects Plan and oversee projects (CI/CD and Kubernetes) Provide advice and technical training What You'll Need to Have for the Role:
In pursuit or a recent graduate with a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field Cumulative 3.0 GPA A graduation date between December 2025-July 2027. Ability to relocate to Chicago for the summer term (June 9-August 15). Camping World does not provide relocation or housing stipends. Participate in Capstone Internship Project including a final presentation to Executive Leadership. Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office: Suite: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Experience as an IT Analyst, IT Consultant, or similar role Experience in Project Management Knowledge in Information technology (databases, system security, trouble shooting, etc.) Ability to maintain professional demeanor and strict confidentiality Must be diligent, organized, and extremely detail-oriented Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Analytical and problem-solving skills and passion for data analytics Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong work ethic with research and note-taking skills
Pay Range: $26.00-$26.00 Hourly
