Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer with the following duties:1.Understanding business requirements and come up with technical solution in terms of APIs development.2.Demonstrating the technical solution with Proof of Concept if required.3.Working on design, development & validation of the API solutions prototypes.4.Providing technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of the APIs.5.Developing API proxies, Products, Apps, Plans on API platform management6.Hands-on experience in API Security, Performance etc. Should have knowledge on SSL, Certificates etc.7.Applying Open API standards and best practices while developing APIs.8.Utilizing DevOps tools like Git, Bitbucket, Hashicorp Vault for API promotions 9.Leading analytical and consulting working sessions to solve technical problems faced by the application teams trying to onboard to Apigee(Google Cloud Console) and/or IBM API Connect.10.Leveraging Integration Patterns based on the requirements using Synchronous (REST, SFTP, GZIP, SOAP) and Asynchronous (Message Queuing).11.Testing and maintaining daily logs for APIs using Postman, SOAPUI, Splunk.Requirements:Educational requirements: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related.1 years of experience in the position offered, or in the alternate job title of Apigee Developer or related occupation.Skill set requirements: 1 years of experience in:1.APIGEE 2.Google cloud console3.GitHub, GitBash4.Bitbucket5.Hashicorp Vault6.Splunk7.SOAPUI8.IBM API ConnectEmployer will accept any suitable combination of education, training and experience.Job Site:Job is currently located in Cranbury, NJ.
