The Platform Engineering team for Nasdaq Capital Access Platforms is looking for a passionate DevSecOps Cloud Specialist with a focus on software development. The main objective for the Platform Engineering team is to build state of the art infrastructure and services to support multiple business units under the CAP umbrella that leverage AWS and Azure for cloud platforms. The Platform Engineering team works closely with all development teams across CAP to ensure developer efficiency and platform reliability.
Your role and responsibilities:
You will work closely with SRE, Developer Experience (DevX), and development teams across the globe to deliver software across multiple cloud partners and infrastructures. You will be responsible for building and deploying infrastructure in a secure, reliable, and scalable way.
Deploy and maintain AWS and Azure cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Ensure scalable architectures that can handle varying loads and complexity. Develop and deploy automation and tools to enhance Operational and Developer efficiency (DevEx). Knowledge on various programming languages Participate in regular audits and assessments to ensure cloud infrastructure meets compliance standards. • Automate security checks as part of the SDLC process. Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to cloud infrastructure and services. Act as an escalation point for faults, attend/lead investigation into incidents and complete follow-up tasks. • Participate in an on-call rotation Additional Skills:
Experience in Azure, AWS, GCP Experience in Azure DevOps, Atlassian, GitLab, GitHub Having experience with both Windows and Linux Understanding of SAAS platforms, private cloud architecture is a plus At least 5-8 years of DevOps experience Understanding of DevSecOps practices and tools Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, shell, or PowerShell Proficient with Kubernetes Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Gitlab and Jenkins. Understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Experience with monitoring and logging tools like DataDog, Prometheus, loki, Grafana, elastic search, newrelic. Knowledge of best practices for securing cloud infrastructure. Familiarity with patching, upgrading, backing up, and securing an Operating System (Linux or Windows) Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in computer science or information technology.
