POSITION PURPOSE:
CIM Group is currently seeking a VP, Head of RFP & Databases. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to clearly articulate CIM's community-focused philosophy and investment capabilities in written form, exhibit strong project and team management skills, have a solid understanding of the RFP process and executing best practices, possess strong attention to detail and the drive to convince clients to choose CIM. This is a great opportunity to work directly with different divisions across CIM (Investments, ESG, Data Governance, Property Management, Distribution, etc.) to drive continued success with the RFP process across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the Global RFP team to project manage the coordination and delivery of RFPs/DDQs/Client Updates Build in-depth knowledge of the firm's product offerings across asset classes, platforms, and overall investment capabilities Build an understanding of clients, consultants and prospects differing needs and levels of sophistication to tailor responses to the target audience Review, manage and assign the project pipeline Commit to improving the efficiency of the RFP process and the quality of our responses, exploring new technologies and delivering best-in-class outcomes Adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment with the ability to assess and reprioritize projects based on client needs (internally and externally) Collaborate with other RFP Team members and global SMEs [e.g. Global Client Group, Portfolio Oversight, Strategy Solutions Group, ESG Team, Marketing, Legal & Compliance, HR] to create and update the content for RFP/DDQ responses Establish departmental audit reviews with Subject Matter Experts Proactively manage and organize RFP responses in the content database Production, final execution and internal distribution of drafts and final version of DDQs/RFPs - act as second review EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: (including certification, licenses, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in required 7+ years in asset Management with product knowledge across alternative asset classes Experience covering operational DDQs Experience managing or overseeing a team of writers Strong relationship management and communication skills, with prior experience and understanding of how to navigate a global firm Advanced knowledge of Office Suite (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with RFP databases such as Responsive/QVidian/Loopio/PMAPS ABOUT YOU:

Actual base salary considers several factors including but not limited to geography, job-related knowledge, experience, and budget. The start of the salary range is typically associated with the minimum experience required.
At CIM, base pay is one part of the total compensation package. This role is eligible for bonus pay in addition to base salary. The anticipated base salary range for the position in Los Angeles is $205,000 - $285,000.
