As a
Logistics Coordinator
, your winning attitude and strategic problem-solving create the partnerships that allow R2 Logistics to uphold an unprecedented level of customer service. Ensuring seamless communication from order entry to carrier procurement and delivery, you create the lasting relationships that keep our customers' freight moving. Logistics Coordinators are responsible for: Accurately entering customer orders into the Transportation Management System ( TMS ); account for changes to in linehaul costs, fuel surcharges, and customer requirements Sourcing, qualifying, and adding carriers to your network Maintaining and developing close relationships with carriers through daily communication Continually reviewing carriers' capacity, to identify growth opportunities to develop a strong book of business Negotiating rates with your carrier network, through daily follow-up calls Maintaining communication with contracted carriers; recording location and proactively resolving issues that arise in transit to ensure on time delivery Creating pickup and delivery appointments via phone and email; informing team members of any scheduling conflicts Strategizing with your Account Executives and Management team to provide capacity solutions for R2 Logistics' current and prospective customers Assisting with additional responsibilities as needed R2 Logistics is looking for:
Bachelor's Degree preferred Prior customer service, sales, management, or administrative experience Competitive attitudes that strive to win Strategic problem-solving abilities Outstanding interpersonal skills Detailed organization and follow-up skills Effective and persuasive communication skills Benefits:

About R2 Logistics: As a third party logistics (3PL) company, we provide our customers access to our network of contracted transportation providers. With no trucks of our own, we contract asset based transportation companies to provide the equipment needed to move hundreds of daily shipments for our customers.
