AI and ML Engineer, Senior
Key Role: Lead the development and integration of cutting-edge AI/ML solutions at USCYBERCOMMAND. Leverage large language models (LLMs) in real-world applications. Build and maintain systems that enable advanced AI capabilities while contributing to other high-impact, cross-functional projects throughout the organization. Basic Qualifications: 10+ years of experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, software development, or data engineering Experience in a programming language such as Python, R, or Java TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor's degree in a technological field Ability to obtain an IAT Level II certification within 45 days of employment Additional Qualifications: Experience with large language models (LLMs) and integrating them into larger applications Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue Experience with web frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI Experience designing software architectures using containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes Experience with modeling and simulation in support of military applications, including intelligence operations, wargaming, and force design planning Experience with wargames, simulation software, or models for developing realistic threat scenarios Experience with the DoD, Cyber Operating Forces, USCYBERCOM, or their components Knowledge of defense or intelligence data sources and analytic tools Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
