Software Engineer

to develop, enhance and maintain critical APIs and automation tools for our customers and internal users. As a Fullstack

Software Engineer , you will be responsible for developing new applications, enhancing existing features, and developing API's that are seamless and enjoyable for our customers to use while maintaining scalable and performant code.

Responsibilities: Develop new frontend and backend applications for customers.

Maintain current frontend applications, ensuring continued operation and functionality.

Help establish good development patterns, practices and testing.

Define the best development paths, with the business, to achieve stakeholder goals.

Work closely with team members and help them build skills based on your experiences.

Assist and guide others technically through collaboration and pair programming.

Troubleshoot, identify and resolve advanced issues in a timely manner.

Own and be accountable for written and reviewed code.

Write reusable, sustainable and performant code.

Write tests and defensively solve problems to create stable deliverables.

Deliver code in a timely manner as defined by our agile process.

Challenge existing code patterns, propose alternatives and justify the value gain.

Understand how existing systems will be impacted by proposed solutions.

Critically analyze the code of others as well as their own, provide constructive feedback.

Proactively ask for assistance when hindered by roadblocks or requirement issues.

Actively seek or take on complex problems within a project or domain.

Qualifications: Computer science degree or equivalent with minimum of three (3) years of software development experience.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience with coding in two or more languages(Javascript, Python, Java, etc..).

Minimum of two (2) years experience developing in a frontend framework (React.js, Angular, etc..)

Object-Oriented programming and design.

Data structure design and uses.

A Test first mentality.

Mobile experience a plus.

Node/React specific experience a plus.

Git workflow experience branching, committing and merging.

Self-motivated and demonstrates a strong attention to detail.

Passionate about delivering high-quality products to our stakeholders.

Works well in a collaborative environment, adaptable and an excellent communicator.

Curious problem solver who keeps the bigger picture in mind when solutioning.

Works closely with team members and helps them build their skills where appropriate.

Strong independent contributor who works well with other team members.

Base Salary Range:
