Your role at Clorox:
The Diversity Talent Sourcer plays a key role within our Talent Acquisition (TA) team, proactively identifying and engaging diverse talent through various channels. This role focuses on talent sourcing, candidate generation, and developing innovative sourcing strategies. The Diversity Talent Sourcer will collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to understand business needs. The Diversity Talent Sourcer will develop strategies to attract and build a diverse pipeline for high-level roles, ensuring a consistent flow of top talent. This role will support the recruiters to find talent for current open Senior roles and will also be focused on sourcing candidates for high turnover roles, frequent open roles, and opportunistic hiring/ahead of need/new capabilities for those Senior Roles.
This position can be located in one of our offices in Oakland or Pleasanton, CA or Alpharetta, GA, and the individual will be expected to be in the office 3 days a week.
In this role, you will:
Lead Diversity
Sourcing Strategy Development:
Partner with TA Recruiters, TA IDEA Manager (
Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access)
and hiring managers to design and implement effective sourcing strategies for experienced roles.
Act as a DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) sourcing expert, staying updated on best practices for engaging talent.
Provide insights and consult on market trends, sourcing tools, and diversity recruitment tactics.
Source passive candidates and build talent pipelines for critical roles, with a focus on evergreen talent.
Collaborate with the Executive Recruitment Manager to develop sourcing strategies for assigned roles.
Partner with the IDEA team to understand representation aspirations for diverse talent representation and develop strategies that achieve these objectives
Execute Sourcing Strategy
and Candidate Engagement
:
Develop and implement sourcing strategies: Create and execute strategies to source diverse candidates, including leveraging social media, job boards, professional networks and organizations.
Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
Proactively reach out to potential candidates via social media, email, and phone to introduce opportunities.
Support recruiters to find talent for current open Senior roles.
Source candidates for high turnover roles, frequent open roles & opportunistic hiring/ahead of need/new capabilities for Senior Roles
Conduct initial candidate conversations, ensuring a smooth handoff to recruiters for next steps.
Follow up with potential candidates through our diversity professional organization partnerships.
Promote employer brand: Highlight Clorox’s employer value proposition in all candidate interactions
Engage through diversity partnerships, industry events, and resume databases to source diverse talent for experienced roles.
What we look for:
5+ years of experience in a sourcing or talent acquisition role, with a focus on diversity-focused talent sourcing
CPG industry is strongly preferred
Experience building diverse pipelines for experienced roles is essential.Experience in both corporate and agency settings is highly preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in using sourcing tools and techniques, including Boolean searches and social media platforms
ATS proficiency, preferably with Workday.
Expertise in developing proactive DEI sourcing strategies for experienced level roles.
Proven ability to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
Stakeholder engagement: Skilled at building strong relationships and understanding the needs of hiring managers.
Passion for driving inclusive hiring practices.
Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Relevant degrees in Human Resources, Business, or related fields are preferred. Certifications such as AIRS, SHRM, PMP, or PHR are nice to have.
