Engineer 4, Software Development & Engineering Provide technical leadership in designing software, and monitoring and troubleshooting software performance using ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) and Postman; develop and support third-party application integration with Amazon Kinesis, DocuSign, and Kafka; perform code fixes and enhancements using the following technologies and tools: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Cloud, REST, SOAP, IntelliJ, and STSuite; deploy and maintain software using Concourse, Git, Cloud Foundry, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, and Bash; perform Kafka certificate renewals; patch operating systems; create schemas, tables, views, procedures, and constrains on MySQL Server; use MongoDB and Redis; design and implement software functionalities and features, and identify errors in flow; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements; and guide and mentor junior-level engineers. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience designing software; monitoring and troubleshooting software performance using ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) and Postman; developing and supporting third party application integration with Amazon Kinesis, DocuSign, and Kafka; of which three (3) years include performing code fixes and enhancements using the following technologies and tools: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Cloud, REST, SOAP, IntelliJ, and STSuite; deploying and maintaining software using Concourse, Git, Cloud Foundry, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, and Bash; performing Kafka certificate renewals; patching operating systems; of which one (1) year includes creating schemas, tables, views, procedures, and constrains on MySQL Server; and using MongoDB and Redis.
