ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior IT Project Manager leads and delivers IT solutions/ services defined in the IT portfolio and roadmap. The primary focus for this role will be leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O ERP implementations, integrations, and multiple adjacent ERP projects. Secondary focus will be leading project delivery and changes to a small host of enterprise business applications (eSignature, Policy Management, Contract Management, Kronos, etc.). The role reports directly to the IT Director ERP/Business Solutions.
A strong candidate demonstrates effective experiences leading complex IT-business focused solutions/services of vendor provided, highly configured applications both on-premise and SaaS based. This role is expected to bring the best project management practices to own and drive outcomes.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates as the Senior IT Project Manager for assigned projects and initiatives using proven methods of industry best practices in IT project management. Partner with Business Capability Owners to understand processes and system requirements and ensuring new systems, services, or solutions meet these needs. Effective management of outsourced ERP managed service providers for ERP lifecycle changes and improvements. Managing vendor project execution and related delivery for outsourced software implementations. Detailed and aggressive management of budgets, resource plans/models and schedules to ensure alignment to goals of project deliverables. Developing project RACI/Roles and Responsibilities, RAID management as key aspect for project controlling. Build presentation models and driving decision points through cost-benefit and pro-con analysis. Holding project vendor, and business project resources accountable to timelines and outputs. Using skill to negotiate and translate workable compromises to reach project milestones and constraints of cost-time-budget. Organize and facilitate large and small workshops, limited duration teams focused on subproject areas and deliverables. Continuous backlog grooming. Costing and estimating project and change scope and deliverables. Following project reporting standards and presenting to small and large project teams and leadership on assigned project performance. Working in a highly matrix organization with a high degree of independence and supporting oversight from IT leadership. Partner among IT functions to drive project deliverables with Service Delivery, IT Risk Management & Compliance, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure/Architecture, Testing/Release. Scope and initiate projects through initiation, including presenting business cases and approval through steering committees and leadership decision structures. Partners closes with the IT Director of ERP/Business Solutions to develop product roadmaps and business opportunity assessments. Operates as needed in the functional usiness analyst role to flush out initial business problem statements and business cases to understand opportunities. Partners closely with Global Data and Process team (enterprise ERP business owners) to ensure IT delivers to project and quality commitments. Assist and manage supporting ERP and stand-alone application changes within the corporate business space that could include but are not limited to timekeeping software, project management tools, and LCM. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or related discipline or equivalent work experience. 10+ years' experience as an IT Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years as a Systems or Business Analyst. Experience working an IT domain within manufacturing industry. Experience managing small to large sized projects from 1-2 to 50+ member sized teams ($50K to $5M budgets). Demonstrated lead as project manager for multiple ERP lifecycle completions - green and brownfield deployments. Strong knowledge of full lifecycle SDLC methods and tools. Excellent communication, planning, organization, and presentations skills. The candidate must have exceptional slide-work capabilities. Experience implementing or supporting off-the-shelf package software systems. Possess both functional and technical expertise. Demonstrated expertise building x-functional process maps, decision matrices, cost-benefit tradeoffs, and facilitating group conversation to drive detailed requirements and business functionality scenarios and decisions. Experience developing testing and release approaches. Demonstrated project management excellence in planning, scheduling, resource management, and risk management. Excellent interpersonal skills- to work with technical and non-technical people, inside and outside of the company. Demonstrated project management excellence in planning, scheduling, resource management, and risk management. Excellent interpersonal skills- to work with technical and non-technical people, inside and outside of the company. Experience directing IT vendor and offshore IT managed techno/functional consultants for ERP program delivery. Strong budgeting, budget management, and forecasting experience. Requires in-depth knowledge of contemporary IT solutions architecture, components, and functional security models. Smartsheet, MS ADO, or MS Project expert. Experiences delivering ERP adjacent business applications. PMP or willingness to obtain in first 12 months with company sponsorship. ITIL certification, must obtain in first 12 months with company sponsorship. MS D365 F&O certification and advanced training (Functional Consultant, Solution Architect),will be company sponsored to obtain. FDA/GMP Drug or Biopharma IT manufacturing experience will offer candidate distinction. #LI-Hybrid
