We are searching for a Interventional Radiology Technologist
Hours: 24 flex 32hrs
Shift: Day Shift with weeknight, weekend and holiday on-call rotation.
Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital

Responsibilities
Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Interventional Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within assigned modality as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patient-s chart and document all data within the EHR. Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/ parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self and others and aware of MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures.
Qualifications
Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, and attainment of post-primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Interventional Radiology RT(VI)/(CI)/or (CV). Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required. Post-primary certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography and ACLS is preferred. RT Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Cardiovascular Credentialing International and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Post-primary certification and ACLS is preferred.
Pay Range
USD $40.40 - USD $60.60 /Hr.
Rotation Schedule Requirement
On call rotation for weekends and holidays.
