Job Description: Responsible to technically analysis and support sales growth and business development activities with distribution partners and OEMs. Provide technical application specific solutions for customers. Achieve customer trust by developing a technical understanding of the fastening products capabilities and developing proposals that meets the needs of the operation. On site demonstrations of solutions at the end customer are a key part of the process. Candidate must be knowledgeable of technical products, services, and solutions. Responsibilities: Develop and provide technical solutions for fastening requirements of end customers Demonstrate technical solutions for the fastening requirements of end customers Coordinate design and project activities with distributors and customers in and out of production facilities. Ensure performance, quality, and reliability are maintained throughout the design cycle Research and resolve product integrity issues with an appropriate sense of urgency Develop engineering relationships with end customers and maintain relationships with key distributor personnel Provide timely submission of reporting tools, inclusive of CRM data/pipeline management, and project visibility Effectively use financial metrics along with evaluation of technical risk to support customer technical choices during the sales cycle and develop sales project timelines, risk assessment, test methods, and implementation plans to meet customer expectations Actively conduct, seek out, and participate in both formal and informal training opportunities Requirements: BS Engineering Degree or Equivalent Work Experience 3 plus years of experience in Engineering within a manufacturing setting Minimum of three (3) years sales experience, working for a manufacturer or distributor. Proficient in Microsoft Office computer applications required. Ability to understand and communicate in technical matter as well as an understanding of air and electric powered power tools used in industrial settings, competitors and application,and working knowledge of multi-channel distribution functions and end user selling experience is preferred Core Competencies: Technical experience - hands-on problem-solving engineering experience Drives Results - consistently achieving results leveraging the team even under tough circumstances Communicates effectively - develop and deliver communications that are clear, including constructive feedback Customer focus - build relationships and deliver customer centric solutions to meet expectations and maintain customer relationship Action oriented - take new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high sense of enthusiasm Interpersonal Savvy - builds rapport, relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people Being resilient - maintains a positive attitude despite setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations.
