Job Description Summary
SUMMARY: As a key member of the Global Occupier Services (GOS) EHS Group, the role supports the internal strategy on a key client account. The EHS Specialist supports regulatory requirements, Service Level Agreements, policies, and corporate initiatives. Supports Cushman & Wakefield leadership to ensure strategic EHS initiatives are integrated into operations.
Job Description
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES:
Organizes EHS processes/programs for C&W staff.
Engages field operations with tactical execution of EHS programs and systems.
Implements Cushman & Wakefield EHS Corporate processes and systems at the field level.
Partners with vendors on risks associated with their services and ensures EHS compliance.
Investigates and reports all injury/incidents and implements new practices/corrective actions.
Investigates EHS nonconformances and violations and prepares corrective action plans.
Manages the SafetySkills Learning Management System and assigns appropriate trainings by role.
Monitors and tracks completion in accordance with EHS KPIs.
Participates in support activities that have the potential to cause an EHS impact.
Identifies risk associated with the management of contractors.
Collaborates to ensure regulatory requirements are implemented in accordance with the client’s existing programs.
Oversees account’s PPE program including documented tracking.
Implements Cushman & Wakefield EHS Corporate processes and systems.
REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:
Bachelor’s degree is required. Specialization in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering or Environmental Sciences is preferred.
Requires 2-5 years of experience within the EHS profession.
Knowledge of Environmental, Occupational Safety and Health regulations (OSHA/EPA).
Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to leverage office systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, etc.
The ability to travel (approximately 20%).
Candidates with the ability to obtain Professional Certifications (CSP, ASP, CHMM etc.) are desirable.
