Description
The Software Engineering Program in Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems at Pace University is seeking an adjunct instructor for our onsite and online course offerings in our MS in Software Engineering. The ideal candidate will cover a range of software development life cycle stages. Applicants must also demonstrate a deep understanding of Java Programming Language, Requirements Engineering, and Software Design. JOB DESCRIPTION Supervision of the assigned group(s) of students in the software development course projects Creation of a positive and safe learning environment for students and give prompt, regular feedback to students about their academic performance Maintain effective, ongoing communication with the Software Engineering Program Chair concerning student progress and/or concerns to assure quality and consistency across the program Excellent communication and presentation skills Offer three hours of office time each week for each course Ability to effectively utilize Learning Management Systems and online conference platform such as Zoom A willingness and interest in being an active part of a vibrant teaching faculty Requirements
Applicants must:
hold at least a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering be practicing professional software development
