. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT support and systems management, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems, networks, and mobile devices to ensure smooth operations within the organization. Job Duties Manage support requests using a ticketing system, prioritizing issues based on urgency and impact. Install, monitor, and repair network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless access points, cabling, and related equipment. Repair computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals, and troubleshoot network and desktop connectivity issues. Administer user accounts and configure access to LAN and WAN resources. Install and maintain all required software on user desktops, including Microsoft 365 applications. Collaborate with team members to implement IT projects and upgrades. Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures. Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. Develop expertise in the company's ERP system to support user needs and resolve related issues. Make escalation decisions, collaborating with senior team members as necessary. Position Requirements Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, preferred or the equivalent in hands on job experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues independently. Experience with desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common business applications, including Microsoft 365. Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.). Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot printers and other client-side hardware. Experience working with a ticketing system to manage support requests. Ability to make informed escalation decisions for unresolved issues. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and travel to remote locations when needed. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
