SUMMARY:

Facilities Engineer will support the Facilities Engineering Team, reporting to the Facilities Engineering Manager within Emissions Compliance.

DUTIES:

Experience with actively managing, tracking and reporting on multiple simultaneous projects while meeting safety, budgetary & schedule objectives set for the company Design and coordination of closed vent design modifications to ensure proposed facilities or changes to existing facilities are documented prior to construction and executed within both company and regulatory requirements. Working with technical, maintenance and operational personnel to develop strategies for addressing reoccurring leaks and evaluating new technologies. Development of cost estimate, execution plan, design basis, and AFE documents necessary to obtain project approvals. Development of construction drawings and RFQ packages through coordination with third party engineering firms, construction foreman & operations personnel. Ensure management of change approvals are identified, coordinated and approved where required based on the scope of work to be performed. Walk down facilities and identify / potential process changes / improvements to meet production goals and zero emission objectives Coordination of pre-start-up safety reviews to ensure a smooth handoff of changes to operations Experience with sizing & selection of production equipment, tank working/breathing capacity, PVRV venting sizing capacity, separator dump sizing & blanket gas regulator sizing Experience in sizing vapor recovery units, vapor destruct equipment (combustor/flare) and the associated vent piping systems Assist operations personnel with troubleshooting and proper operation of facilities REQUIREMENTS:

7+ years of related design and construction experience required. Must possess knowledge of surface equipment, process conditions, and safety systems typically present on Central Tank Batteries (CTB) and Central Gathering Compression (CGC) installations. Support production operations and construction teams with diagnosing abnormal operating conditions and providing technical recommendations. Must be proficient in computer skills including MS TEAMS, Excel, Word, Outlook. Proficiency with modelling software, such as Aspen Hysys, ProMax, and PipeSim desired. Experience with related industry codes and standards applicable to upstream Oil & Gas operations in TX & NM desired. (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME BPV code, etc.) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired. OTHER:

Able to travel to field locations in Texas and New Mexico on a regular basis based on project planning & coordination needs. Strong communication skills to coordinate with a cross-functional team (operations, engineering, measurement, automation, environmental, regulatory, safety, contractors & inspection personnel) to evaluate and execute projects Excellent written and verbal communication and grammar skills. EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree: Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent degree.
