We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our mission critical team in our Dallas office. Candidates need to have a demonstrated history of working large-scale design projects (10+ years). Mission critical experience is highly desired, however candidates with higher education, advanced manufacturing or healthcare experience are welcome to apply. Experience with Mission Critical, Data Center and/or Semiconductor design is highly desired Design mechanical systems including but not limited to: heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, hydronics, steam, plumbing, gas, and compressed-air utilities. Possess working knowledge of applicable codes and standards; advise other design-team members on the implications of those criteria as needed. Possess general working knowledge of different mechanical systems; stay up to date on industry advancements including best-practices for applicability. Perform space planning (including future, as applicable) to guide mechanical room sizing. Help identify potential conflicts early through collaborative design. Develop mechanical construction documentation and BIM models utilizing Revit MEP or similar CAD package. Supervise the installation of the designed systems and equipment. Prepare cost estimates, specifications, and design analyses. Manage the mechanical engineering of small projects. Oversee the production of design documents by graduate engineers. Balance workload and varying requirements of multiple projects. Attend client meetings and represent the mechanical interests of the firm

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited program. Active Professional Engineer (PE) license. Must have at least (10) years of licensed experience designing mechanical HVAC/ plumbing systems for commercial and/or industrial buildings. At least two (2) years of recent experience working in Revit MEP and/or AutoCAD MEP. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Demonstrate stable employment history. #LI-EC1
