Location: Mountain View, California About the role
As a Data Warehouse Engineer in this dynamic position, you will be instrumental in crafting innovative data warehousing solutions that empower diverse teams. Your expertise will be vital in exploring, integrating, and consolidating leading open-source technologies into our internal systems. You will handle billion-level data loads daily, ensuring our infrastructure remains robust and scalable. Your contributions will not only enhance operational efficiency but also drive data-driven insights that support our ambitious growth trajectory. Responsibilities Meet with various stakeholders and get to know their common pain points, evaluate their common needs and finally turn them into internal warehouse tables or data services. Be the POC of commonly used company-wide metrics. Design warehouse layers, warehouse tables, ETL pipelines and make sure all results get delivered in a timely manner. Meet with ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, provide data sets for them for ML training and data insight analysis. Build company-wide dashboards for long-term tracking. Requirements BS/MS in a relevant field with over 3 years of professional experience. Proficient understanding of warehouse definitions, warehouse layers, and data modeling. Strong SQL skills and extensive experience in optimizing Hadoop tasks. Experienced with tools such as Kubernetes (K8s), Kafka, Hadoop, Flink, Spark, Presto, and Trino. Previous experience in Data Security and Data Authentication is a valuable asset. Benefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training. At NewsBreak, we design our overall rewards package to attract top talents. Depending on the position, the role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus and options.
