Technical Business Intelligence Analyst
to support BARDA's mission in enhancing the nation's public health security and emergency preparedness by facilitating communication on innovative products and solutions between federal agencies and public stakeholders. This individual will be responsible for supporting program creation and execution. The Business Intelligence team within the Catalyst Office is a strategic advisory group providing comprehensive landscape assessments that play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and resource allocation for technologies, ultimately driving innovation, investment, and value creation for BARDA. Roles and responsibilities for the position include: Conduct market research, landscape assessments, and business intelligence analyses and create summaries and reports Provide updates and reports on landscape assessments and gap analysis to BARDA stakeholders and leadership based on the analysis requested and that have been completed Leverage online databases and tools such as Pitchbook, Citeline, PubMed and other market research and technology assessment databases. Research companies, academic institutions, non-profits and other entities in the topic of interest – familiarity with BARDA’s mission space and associated institutions is required. Make deductions based on the research including identifying trends, SWOT analyses, and thematic analyses and developing reports and presentations based on those assessments Collaborate with various divisions across BARDA to source for requests and to complete the requested tasks in a timely manner Provide ad hoc support to ecosystem building programs and other initiatives across the Catalyst Office including Blue Knight and BARDA Accelerator Network Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical sciences or biomedical engineering or public health.
