Responsibilities:As an Electrical / Hardware Engineer with MTSI, you will perform foreign materiel exploitation (FME) of threat air defense and missile systems, including detailed system and subsystem analysis and reverse engineering, hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing, and test design and execution. You will collaborate with a team of FME experts across MTSI and our partners to support National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

- Hardware analysis, subsystem-level test and evaluation of electronic systems, test design and data analysis, and technical documentation
- Reverse engineering hardware and software components
- Building representative hardware and software models
- Integrating hardware and software capabilities into a test capability
- BS and 5+ years of related professional experience, or a master's degree and 2-5 years of experience.
- Understanding of electrical engineering concepts, particularly embedded systems, circuit analysis, and guidance/navigation/control systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook).
- Experience with lab tools, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, data acquisition systems, and digital multimeters.
- Ability to reverse-engineer electronic systems, guidance/navigation/control, and conduct technical comparisons to previously analyzed hardware.
- Ability to read and generate engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and functional block diagrams of components, subsystems, and complete systems.
- Ability to organize and prepare comprehensive technical reports.
- Ability to effectively prepare and deliver technical briefings.
- Strong interpersonal skills to support interaction with a diverse technical team of Government and contractor personnel.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, or related engineering field with 5+ years' experience
- Master's Degree and 2-5 years of experience
- Knowledge of air defense, missile, and radar systems.
- Knowledge of FPGA, DSP, or CPU design and implementation.
- Experience/proficiency in: MATLAB, Altium Designer, Vivado design suite, LabVIEW.
- Experience with coding in C, C++, or Python
- Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI eligibility is HIGHLY desired.
