Overall Responsibilities of the Cabin Housekeeper:
  • Assures that the cabins are tidy, sanitary, and have all of the necessary supplies.
  • Meets or exceeds Member service expectations.
  • Works well with other team members.
  • Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort Employee Handbook.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
The Cabin Housekeeper Will:
  • Clean rooms, hallways, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways according to checklist and time specifications.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
  • Change bedding and made beds as directed.
  • Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using assigned means.
  • Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
  • Dust and polish furniture, window blinds, and equipment
  • Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
  • Polish silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
  • Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
  • Notify supervisor concerning the need for major repairs or additions to cabin operating systems.
  • Move and arrange furniture, and turn mattresses.
  • Observe precautions required to protect Hart Ranch Members property, and report damage, theft and found articles to supervisors.
  • Clean glass partitions and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Remove debris from driveways and all public areas inside or out.
  • Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
  • Stocks cabin hospitality supplies (coffee, tea, sugar, etc.) as needed.
This position profile identifies the key responsibilities and qualifications for performance. It cannot encompass all specific job tasks that an employee may be required to perform. The employee is required to follow and perform any other job-related instructions and duties as may be reasonably assigned by his/her supervisor.

Requirements
  • As a workamping position the employee will be required to live on property
  • Minimum of 16 years of age. Can be 14 years of age in some circumstances.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds.
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to maneuver, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed.
