Senior Components Engineer {D}

We are immediately hiring for the exciting position of a Senior Component Engineer! The Senior Component Engineer provides expertise in High Reliability, Military and Space Level EEE Component Engineering.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Plan, define and implement component engineering requirements to ensure design integrity and hardware robustness.
- Execute processes and procedures required to follow an EEEE (Electrical, Electronic, Electro-Mechanical, Electro-Optical) component through selection, specification generation, procurement, part screening/qualification and data review/inspections.
- Participate in several Integrated Product Teams to implement Component/Reliability Requirements which may include Component Selection, Screening and Qualification Definition, Reliability Studies, Stress Analysis, Component Database management and Supply Chain Guidance.
- The support of Radiation Transport/Characterization Analysis and Implement Radiation Test Plans on Components.
- Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including supplier quality manuals and company quality records.
- Create presentations and participate in internal/external customer meetings.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree a plus
Experiences/Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience working in EEEE Component Engineering in High Reliability, Military or Space Flight Environments
- Extensive knowledge of EEEE device types, construction, operation and failure analysis
- Experience working in U.S. Government Department of Defense or other highly regulated industries
- Experience documenting/managing component requirements using parts control plans and parts
- Experience with radiation survivability (TID, DDD, SEE) of electronic devices in space environments
- Working knowledge of Government, Industry specs and standards (MIL-STD-1547, NASA INST-002, DLA)
- Excellent project leadership, presentation and decision-making skills
