Are you ready to take on an exciting role with a leading force in the digital content and entertainment industry? Our client is a cutting-edge, rapidly growing company originally from Japan, who are now launching operations in the United States. We are looking for a dynamic Office Manager to help bring organization and processes to their creative productions to new audiences worldwide.

As the Office Manager you will oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of the US subsidiary and support a positive, productive office environment. You will play a key role in supporting our team, managing operational needs, and contributing to the execution of our business activities in the US. This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with experience in office management and a passion for supporting a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations, including facility management, office supply management, and vendor coordination.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all office-related inquiries, maintaining a well-organized, welcoming workspace.
  • Support HR activities including onboarding new employees, managing employee records, and coordinating training sessions.
  • Collaborate with finance to manage budgeting, expense tracking, and reporting.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for both local and visiting team members.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including preparing documents, presentations, and maintaining internal systems.
  • Uphold company policies and support efforts to foster a positive, inclusive work environment.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of office management or administrative experience, preferably within the entertainment, media, or tech industries.
  • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with office management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer-service orientation and a collaborative mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in event coordination and handling logistics for corporate functions.
  • Familiarity with basic HR processes and basic knowledge of employment laws in California.
  • Background in supporting an international company, particularly in entertainment or creative industries.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to improve office efficiency and implement best practices.
  • Passion for digital media, virtual entertainment, and/or gaming is a plus.
  • Japanese language proficiency is a plus but not required.
