From analyzing business trends to providing an in-depth look at consumer behavior, this team takes data and numbers-and transforms them into meaningful insights. The important work that these analytical minds spearhead is essential to the business, helping us determine the best path forward.

Looking for an opportunity to thrive and flex both your analytical skills and strategic knowledge at a thoughtful, sustainable growth company? Rothy's is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support the Acquisition and Retention teams.

The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with these teams to analyze the customer product journey, cohort customer performance, and multi-channel paths. For this role, success will come through analyzing and informing our marketing strategy - from structuring and informing the best way to gauge marketing performance to uncovering insights on customer segmentation and personalization.

What You'll Do
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy for performance metrics by developing and maintaining robust analytical processes across various reports and dashboards
  • Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards in Looker to meet analytical needs across the company, ensuring all teams have access to relevant, actionable insights
  • Conduct detailed analyses of marketing, financial, and performance metrics to support accurate reporting and drive key business decisions
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, cohesive presentations for leadership teams and other stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making
  • Develop innovative analytical approaches to evaluate and improve strategy performance, proposing new methodologies as needed
  • Collaborate with User Acquisition and Retention teams to monitor and report on channel performance, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategies
  • Provide actionable insights into customer Lifetime Value (LTV) by analyzing purchase behavior, email, and social interactions, helping shape future marketing and retention strategies
  • Participate in monthly business performance reviews by delivering insights on LTV, retention metrics, and campaign performance, offering key recommendations
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques, including mixed media modeling, customer path analysis, and channel testing, to support marketing spend optimization and creative strategy enhancements
  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making by empowering teams to utilize Looker dashboards effectively, providing training and support as needed
You have:
  • 6 or more years of data analysis experience in the ecommerce space
  • Training/education in Business Analytics, Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience
  • Technical skills including: Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance
  • Extensive experience in building dashboards and reports using Looker (required)
  • Strong Excel and Google sheet skills for data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience with statistical modeling tools like Python
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and Amplitude for analyzing site performance
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with a passion for data-driven decision-making
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to transition between detailed data and high-level insights
  • Excellent communication skills, and are capable of crafting data stories that resonate with diverse audiences

Pay range:

$128,000 - $150,000 annually

Base pay is one part of the total rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
