Android developer

Title: Android Engineer/Developer Work Location: San Francisco - HYBRID2 days per week onsite, 3 days remote
Length: 6-12 month Contract

Most important skills

• 5 + year's experience in native mobile app development on Android; and hands-on experience in Kotlin, Java RX and/or React native code to build front-end web or native application experiences
• 5 + years of hands-on experience, of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• 4 + years with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• 7 + years Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Must have BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and AOSP (Android Open Source Project)
• Hands-on with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Backend web service and API knowledge
• Any IOT device or wearable like Fitbit etc preferred
