This role is designed for a detail-oriented, analytical, and committed individual who is ready to take the next step in their career. As a Property Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our property portfolio, including lease accounting and rent rolls. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.Responsibilities:As a Property Controller, your primary duties will include:1. Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements for our property portfolio.2. Managing lease accounting and rent roll processes.3. Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all aspects of the general ledger.4. Coordinating with property management teams to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.5. Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.6. Conducting regular audits and reviews to ensure financial compliance.7. Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.Qualifications:To be considered for the Property Controller position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the real estate industry.2. Active CPA License.3. Extensive knowledge of lease accounting, rent roll processes, and property management.4. Proven experience in managing and preparing financial statements.5. Proficiency in using accounting software and managing general ledgers.6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.7. Excellent communication and leadership skills.8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.9. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
