You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases, including family-based petitions, employment-based petitions, deportation defense, and asylum and humanitarian applications.Key Responsibilities:Conduct client intake interviews in English and Spanish and gather relevant documents.Provide written and verbal Spanish-English translation.Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions, applications, and appealsResearch legal issues and stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations.Maintain accurate records and case management systems.Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other relevant parties.Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed.Qualifications:Two or four-year degree and or paralegal certification preferred.Minimum 2 years’ experience working in immigration law.Working knowledge of USCIS filing procedures and EOIR Courts and Appeals System (ECAS) preferred.Proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Interested in hearing more?
