JOB SUMMARY
•Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the Production Floater safely and efficiently operates production equipment, including but not limited to, blow mold, depalletizers, fillers, packers, palletizers, forklifts, sanitation, and recycling equipment.This position will also perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Person and Management.
JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Note: The job functions relate to the job, not the individual) Follow standardized safety procedures and perform work in a safe and cost-effective manner. Monitor the quality of products or raw materials that are being used and report any inconsistencies in the quality of materials to management. •Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed and perform light maintenance duties on machines.
•Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures on equipment and work areas.
•Comply with all safety, GMP, sanitation & food safety regulations.
•Know the purpose and follow proper operation of all safety switches, interlocks and safety devices.
•Check product and case codes frequently for accuracy and legibility and complete package changeovers accurately and timely.
•Follow escalation protocol in a timely manner when troubleshooting efforts fail.
•Work closely with maintenance when escalation to maintenance support is needed for a mechanical issue.
•Must complete and file all required quality and packaging documentation in an orderly and timely manner.
•Must notify lead and supervisor of any major problems or questions, including Quality or Food Safety concerns.
•Routinely communicate with up/down stream operators to maximize line performance and ensure product integrity.
Operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse; remove dunnage from machines, sort, remove and replace damaged product. Accurately scan barcodes as needed and complete required paperwork. •Transport empty can and bottle pallets to depallitizer.
Operate battery changing equipment. Monitor the Blow Molder to ensure a continuous supply of bottles to the filler. Monitor the bottle quality through the required QC testing, making process changes to ensure the highest quality bottle is blown, complete and accurate documentation of all testing. •Complete machine changeovers as dictated by the production schedule.
Complete all required paperwork at the end of each run while maintaining traceability paperwork for the preforms used. Frequently climb stairs, reach above shoulders, bend and twist at waist and neck. •Stand/walk or sit for extended periods of time.
•Report to work on time and work overtime as needed.

Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned. Cover other lines when needed. QUALIFICATIONS
Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Requires basic mathematical and writing skills.
•The ability to stand for long periods of time.
•Must be able to work under minimum supervision.
•Lift up to 40 lbs. frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally, and up to 75 lbs. infrequently.
•Requires the ability to operate all production equipment, including forklifts, sanitation and other cleaning equipment.
•Requires the ability to work well with others in a team setting.
•Requires the ability to complete a Forklift Operations Training course and to successfully pass the test to obtain a Forklift Operator's License.
•Ability to work overtime when needed.
•Basic computer skills are helpful.
