Operations Manager-The Blueprint Underground Cocktail Club
General Overview
The Operations Manager will provide 100% support and commitment to venue in regard to strategy policies, procedures, guests, staff, and purveyors in attaining budgeting goals, providing elevated entertainment experiences to guests, and building sales. In addition, they will take an active role in all marketing initiatives.
The Blueprint is a vibrant and dynamic cocktail club for entertainment and creativity that blends historical charm with cutting-edge nightlife in Nashville's iconic Printers Alley.
The Blueprint showcases a vibrant mix of live performances, from local legends to international sensations, alongside innovative cocktails and gourmet bites that pay homage to the culinary heritage of Nashville and the legacy of Printers Alley. Featuring a unique open-window concept and an inviting outdoor patio, The Blueprint offers patrons a mesmerizing atmosphere where the spirits of past printers and contemporary creatives merge, making it the definitive gathering spot for both local enthusiasts and global talents.
Tasks, Duties, Responsibilities:
Responsible for liquor ordering and inventory administration.
Coordinate distribution and grass root marketing of The Blueprint Underground Cocktail Club. This includes personal visits and follows up with stores, salons, conferences, fairs and all other promotion opportunities.
Coordinating table bookings with the VIP Hosts
Actively seek out new guests making them regulars by personal connection and acquiring contact information
Increase knowledge of liquor types, brands and how to serve.
Attend weekly meetings and share updates with team on the happenings of Blueprint.
Attend and assist in leading the Marketing meeting.
Major involvement in marketing/events
Recognizing industries, VIPs, perfect customers and developing strong personal connections with them
Developing relationships within the service and nighttime industries
Aggressively targeting high end businesses for client hospitality and table reservations.
Organizing of all business cards and new contacts
Create and host one event each month with VIP Hosts
Be a positive ambassador for The Blueprint Underground Cocktail Club
Participate actively in at least one social event in Nashville per week and become highly attained to the local economic and competitive environment.
Assist in all accounting functions including but not limited to cash handling procedures, close outs, invoices, payroll, P & L review, budgeting, payroll, and controlling labor costs
Ensure all HR regulations and policies are being followed including execution of employee handbook and new hire paperwork
Knowledge, Skills, Personal Attributes:
VIP guest relations experience
Work well with a team and knows how to motivate staff
Beverage menu knowledge
Be able to perform POS system functions
Awareness of Nashville nightlife scene
At least 2-3 years of experience in a management position for a high volume, fast paced environment
Ability to balance nightclub operations responsibilities as well as accounting and marketing tasks
Attention to detail.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
Create a positive working environment with high energy.
Honest and trustworthy
Respectful
Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Flexibility
Demonstrate sound work ethics.
Education and Experience
1-3 years of experience in a manager role in a high-volume bar or night club environment
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Must be able to lift, balance, push or carry to 50 pounds.
