Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Java Test Automation Engineer with extensive experience in test automation to lead and implement enterprise-level frameworks. This role involves reviewing current test automation states, suggesting improvements, defining end-to-end automation strategies, and integrating tools to enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation tools, scripting, and insurance domain knowledge. You will be instrumental in streamlining automation workflows, setting roadmaps, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
•Implement defined enterprise-level automation frameworks.
•Review and analyze the current test automation processes and recommend improvements.
•Evaluate team deliverables to ensure adherence to scripting standards and suggest enhancements.
•Integrate tools like JIRA, Xray, Perfecto, and Sauce Labs into existing frameworks.
•Define end-to-end automation workflows for application services.
•Develop and execute an end-to-end automation strategy across various business layers.
•Recommend appropriate tools and testing types required across business layers.
•Establish automation roadmaps, including team skills, frameworks, tools, and test coverage.
•Define CI/CD pipelines and year-on-year productivity improvement strategies.
•Provide recommendations to optimize execution time and improve test estimation efforts.
•Share best practices and innovative solutions for problem statements.
Required Qualifications
•10-15+ years of experience in the IT industry, primarily in test automation.
•Proficiency in Playwright (UI/API), Mobile Automation, POSTMAN, Sauce Labs, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, and Selenium.
•Experience with Mainframe automation tools like Kevlar, REXX, and Jenkins.
•Expertise in WinAppDriver, UFT, or UFT One with VB scripting.
•Strong knowledge of the insurance domain.
•Familiarity with automation testing tools like RestAssured, Cypress.IO, Katalon (JavaScript), Protractor, and WebDriver.IO.
•Experience in SQL and database testing, user acceptance testing, and test reporting/dashboard creation.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience in API/Microservices testing with tools like RestAssured.
•Expertise in integrating tools and defining strategies to enhance automation workflows.
•Ability to set and achieve year-on-year productivity improvements and test coverage targets.
