We are looking for an Automotive Sales Manager to join our growing team! The right candidate will be ambitious, have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to meet and exceed goals. Day-to-day tasks will include developing client relationships and providing product solutions that best meet our customer's needs. The sales manager will also assist in Managing our sales team. Our sales manager will also be in charge of managing inventory, staff, and maintaining a acceptable profit margin.
An automotive sales manager is responsible for leading a car dealership's sales team or department. Their duties include:
Team management : Hiring, training, and supervising salespeople Sales strategy : Developing and promoting strategies to sell vehicles Goal setting : Setting sales goals and tracking progress Customer service : Answering customer questions and issues, and ensuring high customer satisfaction Inventory management : Overseeing retail and wholesale inventory Sales price : Being responsible for sales price Budgeting : Approving budgets
Collaboration : Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing
Reporting : Compiling regular reports for dealership management
Some other responsibilities of an automotive sales manager include: Forecasting sales for upcoming months and quarters, Developing and managing a CRM platform, Maintaining a professional appearance, and Attending manager meetings.
Automotive sales managers should have excellent customer service skills and be able to function effectively with various automotive software programs. They should also be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
