Creates queries, forms and reports that contain a variety of information. Compacts and repairs databases and enter applicable information.Provides support to users by troubleshooting and training users on GIS applications to include but not limited to, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, and Google Earth. Creates and maintains GIS features in applicable databases. Coordinates, develops, tests, and modifies GIS applications for use by end-users, including entry/inquiry screens and print layouts. Develops related system documentation and creates user guides.Reviews and processes request associated with Program managers, Engineers, and Designers. Verifies field data by conducting visual inspections of applicable sites.Ability to complete assigned work with complete information but minimal supervisionEducation/Experience/Certification(s):Minimum of High School Diploma or GED is requiredMinimum of 2 years previous experience involving geographical information systems (ESRI ArcMap or ESRI ArcGIS Pro)Associate degree with training emphasis in Geographic Information Systems, mapping, database design or other closely related field or (4) year previous experience involving geographical information systems or relational databases; or any combination of equivalent experience and education - is preferred. GISP Certification - Preferred, but not requiredRequired SkillsUnderstanding of GIS software, topology/geometric network techniques, data model formats, and data conversion practices.Working knowledge of GIS related software, desktop mapping, web mapping, GPS, and database/spreadsheet applications.
