For this role, we are looking for the ideal candidate to have a bachelor’s degree, with a master’s or MBA degree preferred, and 15 years of experience within luxury brands in a leadership role. The candidate should have strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to work collaboratively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Ability to elevate client experiences and nurturing of client relationships will be crucial for success in this position. The candidate is also expected to have strong commercial awareness. Ability to travel up to 50% of time. Ability to speak French is a plus. What are we expecting from you? Reporting to the Senior VP of Retail, you will support the implementation of both short-term and long-term strategies for aspects of retail brand development in the Americas. These areas include Client Development and Insights, Retail Operations and Performance, Retail Training and High Jewelry Development. Your role is instrumental in executing the rollout of these department initiatives across the network, driving both growth and consistency. This role is based out of New York. In this role, you will be responsible for the following: Drive significant value through key strategic projects and initiatives to guide business growth and impact how the business operates. Bring analytical, critical thinking, influencing, and project management skills to an evolving portfolio of projects across retail departments. Support Annual Strategic Plan processes to outline and define objectives for retail development through both annual plans and three-year plans. Further, participate in the budget processes for store sales forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets. Manage a large cross-functional team and their projects related to key priorities. Evaluate new opportunities, analyzing potential in terms of sales, brand fit and long-term goals. Hold key stakeholders accountable to the results through quantitative analysis and dashboard reporting of key metrics. Oversee Client Development projects by ensuring client experience initiatives are evolving, meeting Maison standards and monitoring incentives to improve client loyalty performance. In sync with the overall Maison’s strategy and vision, lead the implementation of custom & unique VIP client journeys and engagement. Guide all functions of Retail Operations including strategic analysis, client initiatives, reporting, boutique openings and store administration. Serve as a key presence for retail related compliance topics and projects. Closely monitor, analyze and report on sales performance, KPI, and key sales associate metrics for all stores through the Retail Performance Teams; share insights and actions with senior leadership. Propose innovative, market specific ideas to increase awareness and conversion. Lead the growth and development of transversal training strategies and engagement to support regional, boutique and individual needs, alongside the Training Team, that align with current business priorities. Lead the growth & development of the High Jewelry Development business and initiate action plans to ensure High Jewelry financial objectives are met.
