Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/23/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. The Interventional Radiology Technologist assists in the performance of a wide variety Interventional Vascular and Neuro Special procedures on patients of all ages. The IR Technlogist works under the direction of an IR or Neuro Physician. 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Philips Allura Biplane Angio, Cerner Radnet Order Entry, Omnicell Medication dispenser 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. 1 years or more of experience in Interventional Radiology 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) ARRT & BLS 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) Will be paired with other IR technologist working Day shift schedule (8Hrs) Monday - Friday. Along with rotating days on-call (1 day per week and every 5th weekend) 6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) No floating 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 11 Outpatient beds 8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 9. Dress Code: Hospital provided OR scrubs 10. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. Orientation will be performed by pairing with experienced IR Technologist for an introductory period. Additional Comments: During on call periods must be within 30 mins of facility.
