Shermco US is hiring an Engineering Proposal Manager Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Proposal Manager to join our team. The Engineering Proposal Manager will play a crucial role in leading the proposal development process, ensuring the creation of compelling, accurate, and competitive proposals that align with client needs and company goals. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end proposal process from initial RFP review to submission, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather necessary information and insights for proposal development. Analyze RFP requirements and develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and schedules. Write and edit proposal content, ensuring clarity, coherence, and alignment with client requirements and company capabilities. Conduct proposal reviews, coordinate feedback, and integrate inputs from various stakeholders to enhance proposal quality. Manage proposal production, including formatting, graphics, and document control to create visually appealing and professional submissions. Develop and maintain proposal templates, boilerplate content, and reusable materials to streamline future proposal efforts. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to enhance proposal strategies and positioning. Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, presentations, and discussions as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards throughout the proposal process. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent working experience. Proven experience (5 years) in engineering proposal management within the electrical engineering or related industry. Strong understanding of engineering concepts, particularly in power systems, systems integration/control, and electrical infrastructure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly and persuasively. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Proficiency in proposal management software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite). CRM experience with Salesforce. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends to inform proposal strategies. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
