As a Communications Coordinator, you will play a vital role in helping us communicate our mission, engage our supporters, and promote our fundraising events. We are currently seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level Communications Coordinator. In this role, you will assist in developing and implementing communication strategies to promote our fundraising events, engage our audience, and raise awareness for our cause. Responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies and campaigns to promote fundraising events and initiatives. Create compelling content for various communication channels, including social media, email newsletters, website, and press releases. Manage social media accounts and online presence, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages. Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as flyers, posters, and promotional materials, to promote fundraising events. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels. Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, trends, and opportunities for engagement. Assist with media outreach and relationship building, including drafting pitches, press releases, and media advisories. Support event planning and execution, including logistics coordination, vendor management, and on-site support during events. Track and analyze communication performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for different audiences and channels. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Previous experience in communications, marketing, event planning, or nonprofit organizations is a plus but not required.
