Our client in the BioPharma or Pharmaceutical industry is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Facilities team supporting the maintenance and continuous operation of all HVAC related building systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical expertise in facility related systems, customer service skills, and a certification as a Universal EPA Technician which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Support the maintenance and continuous operation of all HVAC-related building systems including, mechanical (HVAC controls) related electrical and temperature controls systems, critical environments, and coordinate with staff and outside vendors as necessary. Understand the maintenance objectives of the facility and incorporate those objectives into a documented plan that includes preventive, corrective, and reliable maintenance procedures. Accept and log all complaints, status, and follow-up calls in the CMMS database. Take immediate action on all alarms. Repair/Correct alarm condition, if possible, otherwise start follow-up trail for each alarm. You are responsible for all alarms that occur during your shift. Monitor the operation and make adjustments on refrigeration, heat exchanger, HVAC, Centrifugal Chillers, Cooling tower, VAV systems, electrical, emergency backup systems, and hot water systems; monitor operation, adjust, and maintain refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; boilers, and ventilating and hot water heaters; pumps, valves, piping, and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment. Record readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment. Requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions, and take corrective action as required.
What's Needed?
5+ years facility related work experience, including customer service Demonstrated technical expertise in facility related systems Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC’s (EPA 608 Universal) Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
