About the role:
Work at a chemicals production facility in St. Louis that develops and manufactures industrial additives in batches (some continuous). This site has 250 employees and is searching for an EHS Manager to maintain, manage, and improve Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives throughout the plant. You'll be supervising 3 or more EHS specialists and coordinators. You will be focused on overall EHS management systems site-wide as well the PSM and Process Safety programs. You'll ensure that the site is in compliance with all local, state, & federal regulations. You'll be working closely with EHS Corporate and the Plant Manager to continue to push and develop goals, objectives, and plans.
Minimum Requirements:
B.S. Environmental, Chemical, or Safety Engineering, closely related will be considered 10+ years of EHS work experience in a manufacturing setting Some chemical and PSM regulated environment background is required 5+ years of EHS leadership & supervision experience Knowledge and exposure to industrial hygiene, PSM, RMP, PHAs, Emergency Response, ISO are all pluses
